I recently installed the November release of the AjaxToolkit, and just discovered this bug (in production no less). It seems that OnActiveTabChanged is firing even when it ISN'T changing. It fires on every postback.
I mistakenly set the impact to "Low", but this is indeed a big problem. I have reverted back to an old release of the Toolkit. Going forward, I will probably abandon all use of the Toolkit.
Comments: I also believe the impact of this is not low. I came across it also when updating our production site and soon after had my users calling with problems. We updated to take advantage of some other seemingly totally unrelated improvements. It makes it real difficult to stay current when you are not sure which of the hundreds of pages you have in production may break from a toolkit update. This is not the first time an update has broken previously working code.
