Hello, when I drag a ComboBox into Design View, the ComboBox showed this message:
There was an error rendering the control. Request is not avaiable in this context.
There are some solutions in this forum but all that can't solve my problem:
1. Set the RenderMode to "Block": after my ComboBox's RenderMode is Block, it can be seem, however, my ComboBox's RenderMode should be "Inline". So I still got error.
2. Copy a ComboBox from another .aspx web page: it doesn't work on my project, the ComboBox was showing everywhere .aspx web page.
3. Load AjaxToolKit.sln from AJAX Source website: I downloaded the newest version AjaxToolKit.sln and tried to load it into Visual Studio 2005, then I double clicked AjaxToolKit.sln, there was nothing happened.
Does any expert have other ideas?
Thank you so much.
Comments: Starting with v15.1 of Ajax Control Toolkit, we support Visual Studio of version 2010 and higher. In modern versions of Visual Studio, the described problem does not exist.
