Hi,
I am facing an issue with the AsyncFileUpload control when the IE "Miscellaneous" security setting "Include local directory path when uploading files" is disabled.
This setting happens to have been changed to be disaled by default for IE 8 for the Internet zone since July 2008. (c.f.: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ie/archive/2008/07/02/ie8-security-part-v-comprehensive-protection.aspx)
The underlying problem was reported in this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11403593/does-postedfile-filename-work-differently-in-net-4-0
Version used:
AjaxControlToolkit.dll file version: 3.5.51116
(FYI, I have also tried with the latest version for 3.5 .Net fwk and it seems the problem has not yet been resolved.)
Thanks to keep me posted if any bug fix is issued.
Regards,
Jonathan
Comments: It seems that the described problem is not an Ajax Control Toolkit issue.
