Closed Unassigned: Generally Disappointing [27829]

It is really too bad that a set of Controls with such potential to help developers, that have been around for so many years, appear so abandoned at version 15.

Is it just because they are free and DevExpress is following more lucrative channels of business?

I don't think anyone can possibly disagree with me that the documentation in earlier versions, at ajaxcontroltoolkit.com, was much more complete, much more satisfying, much more professional. Today it feels like an abandoned building: nice structure, great potential, but nobody there. Not to mention a lack of consistency.

I don't mind discovering on my own how these controls work, but I find it hard to forgive their regressing and becoming buggy. Take the Tab control. Yeah, I know, the bug was found a few weeks back and the fix will appear in the next release, but it was working in previous releases. For me code that regresses is a bad sign of lack of rigor, too few resources, weak project management.

How can you do that for such a potentially great set of Controls?

Please shape up and do this right.
