New versioning scheme, using the 3rd number as a release year and not touching the 2nd number causes issues with msi packages as this version is considered "smaller" than the previous ones.
The change is documented on Stephen Walther's blog:

Running out of 3rd numbers is fine, but reseting the 3rd number without changing the 2nd leads to issues.
4.1.7.123 < 4.1.60501.0
I understand the desire to keep the "Release Year + Date" scheme, so i suggest you just increment the 2nd number and all will be fine from there. IE: 4.2.7.123
For now, i've built 4.1.7.123 from sources as "4.1.60502" so i can keep my MSI working without having to go thru hoops and break MSI standards.
