Confirmed with the sample site combobox demo page. When trying to type text into the text box, the shift arrow stays highlighted and all text entered is upper case. I have to tap the shift arrow to switch back to lower case. Normally, the iphone keyboard automatically switches back to lower case after entering one upper case character, so this is a big inconsistency with all other iphone apps, and regular web page text boxes for that matter. Strangely, I'd think this behavior would be reflected by showing the "caps lock" arrow (when you double tap the arrow), but instead it just continually shows the regular shift arrow.
I've tried all combinations I can think to try on the sample page and *once* I got it to operate correctly but I can't get that to happen again, so I think that one time was somehow a special (transient) state that the control went into rather than a setting-based behavior.
I'd love a workaround or javascript call I can make to fix this if there is such a thing.
This is using the latest version of the toolkit - just downloaded a few days ago.
It does work right with autocomplete, filteredtextbox, and textboxwatermark though.
